Krka National Park includes the area along the river Krka, which flows through a deep and picturesque canyon 75 km long, forming noisy waterfalls: Bilušića buk, Miljacka, Brljan, Rošnjak, Manojlovački slap, Roški slap and the famous Skradinski buk (Krka waterfalls - 46 m), which is the largest travertine barrier in Europe.
In Krka National Parl, two cultural and historical monuments stand out in particular: the Franciscan monastery on the island of Visovac and the Krka Monastery. Visovac is located in the Krka extension, where the green water dissolved the karst plateau, giving birth to a harmonious combination of natural and historical heritage. Surrounded by the hilly Miljevac plateau and the beautiful Rupa field, which unite beauty in the lap of the blueness of its lake, it defies the storms of historical adversities throughout the centuries. An irresistible, charming cliff in the abundance of nature, which monks have turned into an island full of trees, colorful flowers, fruits and vegetables with centuries of diligent work, irresistibly attracts tourists.
